Meizu has been gearing up for the launch of the latest smartphone in the Meizu Pro lineup which is the Meizu Pro 7. The smartphone will also be the successor to the Meizu Pro 6 which was launched by the company last year. As far as the Meizu Pro 7 is concerned, we have already known that the smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup as is the case with every flagship smartphone which has been launched this year. However, the Meizu Pro 7 will also come with a dual display which will be different from the LG V20’s dual display.

On the Meizu Pro 7, the display which is the second one will be located just below the camera module. As far as the leak of the smartphone is concerned, a Weibo user has pictured the Meizu Pro 7 and the picture gives us a clear look at the upcoming smartphone’s secondary display. Also, the smartphone has been pictured in the Matte Black color which seems to be a color option for the upcoming smartphone. As far as the Meizu Pro 7’s secondary display is concerned, the idea with the display is to show the notifications as well as other important reminders on the display to consume power on the main display. Also, it will be beneficial when the power is low on the phone as the second display will consume much lesser battery than the primary one.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Meizu Pro 7 has been rumored to come with 12MP (Sony IMX386) + 12MP (Sony IMX286) resolution. The phone is said to be powered by a MediaTek MT6799 Helio X30 chipset and come in three storage options: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and a 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Also, the smartphone will be available in China later this month as the phone has been slated to launch in China in the end of July.
