As rumors continue to swirl around the upcoming Fantastic Four movie within the MCU, the biggest question fans have is which actors will take on the heroes that make up Marvel’s “first family.” One key role is that of Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman. While there have been a lot of names offered up in terms of casting the Fantastic Four in the MCU, two names have emerged as the obvious favorites. Fans have made it clear they want to see John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm.

Alice Eve

Alice Eve is not a household name by any means, but she has built a solid career on the big and small screen over the years. She had a standout role in Star Trek Into Darkness and even joined the Netflix side of the Marvel universe as the villainous Typhoid Mary in season 2 of Iron Fist.

While that bit of casting might hurt her chances, many fans feel that Eve possesses both the strength and grace needed for the role of Sue Storm. Redditor ScarletWarlock911 admitted they “always wanted her in this role.”

Since her brief brush with the superhero world in The Amazing Spider-Man movies as Gwen Stacy, Emma Stone has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and even won an Oscar. However, there are plenty of fans who would still like to see her join the MCU as Sue Storm.

Samara Weaving

In recent years, Samara Weaving has emerged as one of the most exciting new talents in Hollywood. While she has yet to find that one role that will bring her to the next level of fame, fans think Sue Storm could be that role Weaving has been waiting for.

Weaving has shown off a great sense of comedic skills in a variety of roles while her parts in Snake Eyes and Ready or Not also prove that she can handle the badass action hero stuff as well. One Redditor was so sold on the idea that they claimed “this is a PERFECT casting.”

However, Redditor milkcustard decided Kirby was perfect for the role of Sue Storm “after seeing Pieces of a Woman” in which she plays a grieving mother which earned her an Oscar nomination.

Rachel Brosnahan

With her hugely acclaimed titular role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Rachel Brosnahan has become a star. The role shows the amazing versatility of her performance, from the comedic aspects to the romance to the dramatic struggles.
